The original house consisted of two storeys with double garage all above a disused basement built into the sloping site.
The project involved reducing ground levels at the rear allowing the basement to be opened up and converted to habitable use. Both the basement and ground floor were extended to the side to provide a kitchen and dining area over a study. The whole of the interior was refurbished and modernised.
